Mid Deeside Parish, located on beautiful Deeside in Aberdeenshire, is centred on the three villages of Kincardine O’Neil, Lumphanan and Torphins.
Our regular Sunday morning worship services are held at 11.00 a.m. in Mid Deeside Church, Torphins. Monthly Sunday evening services take place at Kincardine O’Neil and Lumphanan on alternate months.
On Sunday 29th January the congregation voted overwhelmingly to call the Rev Alec Wark to be our new minister. It is anticipated that Alec will take up post in the near future after all due Church procedures are completed. In the meantime we continue to be cared for by our Interim Moderator, Rev. Dr. Heather Peacock and our Locum Minister, Rev. Peter Taylor (pictured above left and centre respectively with our Session Clerk, Mrs. Pam Auckland). The Kirk Session and members of the congregation are continuing to drive forward our plans for the development of the Parish.
Our website is an important part of our mission to serve the Lord Jesus Christ and make his name and love known as widely as possible both within our community and in the wider world.
